How many times a day do we say to ourselves……”I can’t believe how quickly the time has passed”?
I’m saying that now as I think about Heart of the Matter and how far we have come in the 13 1/2 years that we have been in business. It seems like just yesterday that Rhonda and I took the plunge into the world of entrepreneurship and listened to God’s guiding and began Heart of the Matter.

Back in 2004 we had to do a lot of educating. When we said we were Professional Organizers, we got a lot of blank stares. Most people had never heard of such a thing and those who had were familiar with the tv show Clean Sweep where the hosts, Professional Organizers, put everything you owned out on the front lawn and made you decide what you were going to get rid of and what was allowed back in the house. That has never been the way we have done business 🙂
Time has passed, and while education (both for Professional Organizing and Senior Move Management) is a part of what we do on a regular basis, the profession has become more mainstream.
We are blessed to have a wonderful staff who come alongside us to do what we do day in and day out.
