Senior's Move

Senior’s Move is a specialized moving service designed to coordinate and complete a senior’s move by working with them or their caregiver, alleviating the stress that arises when moving house. Senior's Move provides relocation service throughout Southwestern Ontario.

The services of Heart of the Matter blend seamlessly with those of our partner company Senior's Move.

Our Senior Move Managers will work closely with you to determine your needs and tailor our services accordingly. While working in your home your comfort and safety is our #1 priority. Our team brings extensive experience and individualized support to make your move as smooth and efficient as possible. This valuable service will make the transition to a new home easier with a single point of contact.

Long Distance Moves

It’s common for seniors to move closer to their adult children as years go by and sometimes this requires a long distance move. Senior’s Move has worked with many families across South Western Ontario to bring them closer together.

Estates

Sometimes a crisis move or sudden death leaves family, friends or neighbours with the responsibility of clearing out a home. Senior’s Move will work with the Power of Attorney(s) or Executor to clean out the home in preparation for sale or new buyer.

The Senior Move Manager will help you fulfill your role and legal obligations. This will help with cost containment and make the entire process move more smoothly.

 

 

 

Kids + Food = Mess?

Put a plastic cloth under your young child's high chair. After they are finished eating, all you have to do is take the plastic outside and shake off all the crumbs. You can use another version of this when you are taking long car trips. Why not put a bed sheet over the seat of your vehicle where the kids will be snacking along the way. When you get to your destination simply pull the sheet out, give it a shake and save the necessary clean-up of the seats and floor.
