My office is a total joy!! My husband and I both have home offices and over the years we were drowning in paper, books etc. Donna and Rhonda gently and efficiently helped us to sort, file and dispose of a ton of paper and we feel so much lighter. We were so pleased with the outcome that we had them return to help us organize a storage room and our garage, They are so professional and yet personable...we loved having them in the house- and I am thinking next of the kitchen.

My former method of organizing involved horizontal piles--stacked everywhere! And, when things got terrifically busy, the piles had piles and no surface was safe from encroachment. Thanks to the sleek black wire and charcoal grey folders of my new Hotfile system, I actually have a desktop, kitchen countertops and table. Imagine! I can eat and work...and find things.
a writer and editor, I am constantly researching new ideas, which requires me to handle a lot of paper. And when I'm busy, I get behind in organizing it...to the point that I've even lost library materials under the layers on my desk. With Heart of the Matter’s plan for success we tore through the two-foot mounds on my desk like Hurricane Ike through Galveston (but more productively, mind you), and I ended up with a system that I can maintain--and yes, where I can find things, too! I still hate filing, but at least it's a whole lot easier now.

I, like so many others, had that telltale pile of paper stacked on the corner of my kitchen island. It made me feel so 'scattered' and honestly, things went missing or were forgotten all the time! It drove me crazy to see the clutter. The 'Hotfile' really has changed the way my family and I deal with all of our 'stuff'. We now all know where to go to find important papers ie. school and sports calendars, permission forms, bills etc. I am not sure how I ever managed 'pre-hotfile' days. The system really works for my family and quite simply put - I love it!

Organizing Tip

Here is a little “trick of the trade”. Ever noticed those lines near the base of your file folders or hanging files? If you fold along the lines you are able to create a file with more capacity.

A great way to accommodate some of your bulkier files in your drawer and still allow you to see your tabs.
